Dr Kuldeep Kumar

BIOGRAPHY

Dr Kuldeep Kumar has been working in psychiatry since 2003 and has been a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists since 2007. He has extensive experience in adult psychiatry, as well as child and adolescent intellectual disabilities, including Autism and ADHD.

Dr Kumar takes a holistic, person-centred approach to assessment and treatment. He believes that understanding each person as an individual, including their experiences, circumstances and needs is central to providing effective care.

He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based and personalised support, working collaboratively with patients and their families to help them understand their difficulties and identify the most appropriate way forward.

• Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS): Approved assessor for mental health, mental capacity and eligibility (2016).
  
• Mental Health Review Tribunal: Medical Member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal within the Health, Education and Social Care (HESC) Chamber (2016).
