BIOGRAPHY
Dr Rebecca Andrews is a Practitioner Psychologist and Counselling Psychologist registered with The Health and Care Professions Council and an accredited Chartered Psychologist under the British Psychological Society as well as an Associate Fellow, which is recognition of experiences and contribution to the field of psychology.
She is an EMDR Therapist with membership under the EMDR Association UK.
Rebecca is experienced in providing professional, approachable and respectful psychology services to children and families. She provides as needed psychological consultation, Psychological Assessments including ADOS-2 and ADI-R and offers regular therapeutic sessions.
Rebecca has a wealth of experience working with complex cases, vulnerable families,children and adults within the family home, within services, educational and residential settings. Rebecca specialises in working with neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disabilities, social emotional and behavioural needs and mental health presentations.
The role of a psychologist is to promote individualised psychological, emotional health and wellbeing; Rebecca strives in helping children and families to understand these elements as they are integral to how we think, feel and behave and impact on how life affects us and how well we are able to cope, engage and to make informed choices.
