BIOGRAPHY

Saty has worked as a Clinical Psychologist in the field of psychological assessment and intervention with children and adults since 2004. Prior to this, Saty worked in a variety of roles with children and young people within the context of Local Authority services. She has worked with looked after children for over 25 years in various roles; including working in Residential Management, Aftercare Services, and in placement teams. Her expertise extends to adults who have experienced complex trauma.

Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP)

Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT)

Schema Therapy with attachment

Compassion Focused therapy (CFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Psychodynamic therapy and Intensive Short Term Dynamic Therapy (ISTDP)

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) - Children and Adults


Special interests are: Complex Trauma, Children in Care, Adoption, Abuse, Attachment and Loss; Assessment of Parenting; Contact issues and Adult attachment styles; Mental health in children, Parenting, Mental Health Service Delivery, Service Improvement, Leadership and Organisational Development, Group Work Practice.
