Karina Southorn is a compassionate, dedicated and highly qualified psychologist ( MSc in Psychology) - originally from Denmark. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and an accredited Chartered Psychologist under the British Psychological Society. Karina is empathetic and down to earth - and puts great emphasis on tailoring her approach to suit the needs and preferences of each individual client.

Karina has worked as RMN (Registered Mental Nurse) for more than 20 years, before becoming a psychologist, and has solid experience in working with clients with all sorts of mental conditions and challenges. She has a special interest in working with clients with autism and ADHD, and is certified in both assessment and and treatment of these conditions.

Karina adopts a broadly integrative approach, utilising elements and tools from many different therapeutic approaches; e.g. cognitive, metacognitive, mentalisation-based and psychodynamic.
